Description

This course was developed from the US Department of Health and Human Services publication which outlines a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to treating anger management for substance abuse and mental health clients. Many substance abuse and mental health clients are victims of traumatic life events, which lead to substance use, anger, and violence. This course will provide tools to help deal with these issues. Substance abuse and mental health clinicians as well as anyone who wants to learn more about anger issuesand the management of these issues will benefit from the descriptions of the 12 week anger management group treatment plan that is presented.

Approved by Oregon DHS for AMH, APD and DD
