Description

Adult learning necessitates that we help students understand why they are learning the concepts and content we offer. The NCLEX® is very relevant to the undergraduate pre-licensure nursing student as they know that this test is the gateway to their future. For this reason, faculty can capitalize on the evidence-based clinical focus in the test plan. Whether it is LPN or RN, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing has developed a tool that can effectively help faculty improve just about every learning activity in their lesson plan. This practical and engaging webinar will give you tools you can implement today. Emphasis will be placed on the overall test plan, Safe and Effective Care Environments and Health Promotion and Maintenance. Objectives Describe the basis of the NCLEX® Test Plan. Synthesize Safe and Effective Care Environments and Health Promotion and Maintenance in the NCLEX® Test Plan to guide the development of a lesson plan. Utilize adult learning theory to help students incorporate the client needs in all courses across the curriculum.
