Karin is a nurse educator with a passion for faculty development and student success. She teaches at Maricopa Community Colleges and Upper Iowa University, specializing in the integration of the flipped classroom. Karin has been involved with many local, national, and international projects for teaching, learning and student development. Additionally, Karin works with the National League for Nursing’s testing services and has consulted with Elsevier, Skyscape, and NurseTim, Inc. She is the founding president of the Arizona Simulation Network, and current president of the Arizona League for Nursing. In 2011 she was inducted into the NLN Academy for Nurse Educators.
