Dr. Desiree Hensel, PhD, MSN, BSN, RN, PCNS-BC, CNE is a certified nurse educator and award winning faculty member from Indiana University School of Nursing. Her distinct body of research explores the use of innovative teaching strategies to help students acquire the profession’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes, while more closely examining how nurses define themselves in the 21st century. Dr. Hensel has expertise with mixed-method approaches to evaluate learning outcomes. She has published extensively in top-tier nursing journals and disseminated her work in national forums. She also co-edits the student centered testing resource, Lippincott’s NCLEX-RN Q&A, and has served as accreditation program evaluator.,/p>
