Amy Pettigrew, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF is Dean of the Benjamín León School of Nursing at Miami Dade College, located in Miami, FL. Miami Dade College is a Hispanic and minority-serving institution with more than 174,000 students. Dr. Pettigrew oversees ASN and RN-BSN programs with more than 1,700 nursing students, using more than 160 different clinical sites each semester. Dr. Pettigrew is a board member of the Nursing Consortium of South Florida, which manages the Centralized Clinical Placement System for South Florida, which coordinates clinical placements between 34 regional hospitals and 62 schools of nursing.
