Description

Marilyn Oermann is the Thelma M. Ingles Professor of Nursing and Director of Evaluation and Educational Research at Duke University School of Nursing. She is the author/co-author of 15 books, more than 140 articles in peer reviewed journals, and many other types of publications. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Nurse Educator and the Journal of Nursing Care Quality. Dr. Oermann has written extensively on teaching and evaluation in nursing, and she lectures widely on nursing education topics. She received the NLN Award for Excellence in Nursing Education Research and the
