Description

This outstanding 2.25 hour lecture focuses on the gross morbid anatomy of diseases of the dog and cat. Beautifully illustrated and eloquently delivered, a lecture by Prof. Peg Miller is one not to be missed.

Objectives

Demonstration of gross pathologic lesions.
Select common diseases of the dog and cat will be presented by images of the of gross pathologic changes. Appropriate anatomic and clinical pathologic features to aid in diagnosis, as well as differential diagnoses will be presented with each entity.
Discussion of appropriate anatomic features relating to clinical disease
Appropriate anatomic and microanatomic features of the dog and cat will be discussed as they relate to the entities featured in this lecture.
Discussion of approbate clfinicopathologic findings relating to clinical disease
Appropriate clinicopathologic findings will be discussed which may be seen with many of the entities presented.

Peg Miller, DVM, Ph.D

Dr. Peg Miller is a Professor of Pathology and the Anatomic Pathology Training Coordinator at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM at the University of Missouri, and her Ph.D. in veterinary pathology at Washington State University. She has authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles in all areas of veterinary pathology with over 40 citations in the journal Veterinary Pathology alone. She is a long-time members of the Foundation's Faculty of Discussants and has presented lectures internationally in both English and Spanish. She is also the coordinator of the Foundation's Training Aids Division.
