An excellent experiential learning delivered by "The King" of Veterinary Pathology himself. A rare feat to watch, especially people like me who have just heard about him. An amazingly wonderful collection of Dr. John King, treasured over the years and that too from around the Globe.
Take a bow, in reverence, to the Global Master and mentor to many Veterinary Pathologist.

Description

This 2-hour lecture is a recording of Dr. King’s famous “Black Box Lecture” which he gave many times to veterinarians and pathologists around the world, and was recorded in 1997 during an annual trip to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C.

Dr. King’s “Black Box”, a weathered old suitcase with a chain dog collar for a handle, represents fifty years of collecting odd and one-of-a-kind artifacts from his unique and unparalleled career at the necropsy table. These artifacts, and the stories about them give a very intimate view of Dr. King, one of the world’s finest and most beloved veterinary pathologists

Demonstration of wide range of pathology-causing artifacts and their relation to diseases in animal species.
By the end of this lecture, the viewer will gain an increased understanding of a range of unique causes of disease, intoxication, and death of animals from around the world, as well as the historical view of one of the world’s greatest veterinary pathologists.
