Description

This 2-hour lecture on veterinary forensic pathology gives an excellent overview of the developing field of veterinary forensic pathology with special focus on the handling of forensic evidence, as well as the investigation of gunshot wounds and pesticide intoxication.

Objectives

Demonstration of proper technique for creation of cytologic preparations.
By the end of this lecture, the viewer will gain an increased understanding of the techniques used in veterinary forensic investigation, as well as proper evidence handling techniques, and basic concepts utilized in the investigation of gunshot deaths and other common unnatural animal deaths.
